Filbuster 8: Professor Mark Brown on Covid-19 and the Future of Digital Learning

What can we learn from the way teaching and learning in higher education is changing in response to the Covid-19 pandemic? Filibuster discussed this with Professor Mark Brown of Dublin City University, an international expert on digital learning, blended education, open educational practices and  new online delivery models. And the insights from adopting to our current, quite dramatic, short term challenges can help us gear up for the next wicked problem. Susanne and Per Koch spoke with  Professor Mark Brown, Director of the National Institute for Digital Learning at Dublin City University on the future of digital learning. Professor Brown  is a Kiwi, a recipient of a National Award for Sustained Excellence in Tertiary Teaching, and a member of the The Ako Aotearoa Academy of Tertiary Teaching Excellence. He is an EDEN Fellow and serves on the Supervisory Board of the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities (EADTU). An active researcher, he would like to get in touch with colleagues working on higher education teaching and learning under Covid-19, as well as other global challenges that require research based policy changes to our sector.
